POLICIES/Procedures/Terms

PLEASE READ IN FULL BEFORE REGISTERING

By registering you are stating you understand:


  • 1. That you’re enrolling in CORRECT Blended Class
  • 2. That you are registering for the correct organization: WE ARE American Red Cross 
  • 3. That half of this class is online and half in person 
  • 4. That you need to complete the online to be eligible for the in-person portion or virtual skill session
  • 5. That it is your responsibility to pay attention/and even repeat the online portion to make sure you understand the information for the in person
  • 6. That this is a non-refundable class
  • 7. That if you do not pass, you will be given one more chance to come back to another class for free expires 6 weeks after original class date. Following that you will have to re-register for another class and pay full price again
  • 8. That it’s not in your best interest to wait until the last minute to do the online portion. Because sometimes technology gives us trouble.
  • 9. That if I register for a class and cannot get online done in time for the in-person class, you will not receive a refund and will have to register for another class at full cost.
  • 10.  That I will have to reach out to the American Red Cross for technical support help at 1-800-red-cros during business hours.
  • 11. That sometimes classes get cancelled or mixed for low enrollment especially during the months of Aug-Feb
  • 12. That in the event of a low enrollment cancellation or mixing classes together, I will have the option to move to any other class at no cost but there will no BE REFUNDS
  • 13. That I’m expected to show up on time, prepared, and with proof of online class completion. (This can be on your phone or on paper)
  • 14. That to switch in person dates or locations there will be an administration fee of $25 for CPR classes and $50 for aquatics (this can be submitted by email with subject CHANGE CLASS to Evie.gindi@30to2.com for all in person classes 
  • 15. That before I reach out to 30 to 2 LLC, I should read all information in full, and read the common q’s page (All of this will be emailed to you upon registering)
  • 16. That when I register, I will click the link sent to me in my confirmation email from go daddy, and I will complete the online and read in full.
  • 17. That any changes to training date/time/location must be done at least 72 hours prior to the class date and time to only pay the $25 admin fee for CPR classes and $150 fee for Aquatic Classes ($25 for virtual classes). Anything less than 72 hours will result in having to re-register for another class for an additional full registration fee.
  • 18. That if class is cancelled for bad weather or for any other reason out of 30 to 2’s or Manikin Pal LLC control (location errors, site closures etc) I will be able to move to any other available classes offered by 30 to 2 LLC free of charge (no refunds unless its 30 to 2’s fault).
  • Failure to pass pre-requisites will not result in a refund. 
  • By registering you are stating that you are confident you can pass all required pre-requisites - there is no refunds for aquatics since you are taking the spot of someone who could have passed could have taken
  • Pre-req testing can be requested to evie.gindi@30toto2.com before you pay for the class, however there is no way to hold your spot for the class without full payment 
  • By registering you are saying you are able to complete all pre-requisites.

Your Account If you use this site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. You may not assign or otherwise transfer your account to any other person or entity. 

You acknowledge that 30 to 2 LLC and Manikin Pal LLC is not responsible for third party access to your account that results from theft or misappropriation of your account. 30 to 2 LLC and its associates reserve the right to refuse or cancel service, terminate accounts, or remove or edit content in our sole discretion. Children Under Thirteen 30 to 2 LLC does not knowingly collect, either online or offline, personal information from persons under the age of thirteen. If you are under 18, you may use www.30to2.com only with permission of a parent or guardian.


Cancellation/Refund Policy All services and classes are nonrefundable There is a $50 fee to switch in person land-based class and $25 fee for all virtual classes and $100 fee for all in person aquatic classes aquatic classes and is only accepted 72 HOURS PRIOR TO THE START TO THE REGISTERED CLASS. If you fail for any reason, you will be allowed to come to one class for free then you will have to register and pay for another class at full price after that.

  1. We regret to inform you that all purchases made through our platform are non-refundable. Once a transaction is completed, it is considered final. This includes, but is not limited to, course registrations, materials, and any associated fees.
  2. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, but we are unable to make exceptions to this policy. We strongly recommend reviewing all details and confirming your selection before making a purchase.

TARDINESS POLICY

We value your commitment to our program and strive to maintain a punctual schedule. To ensure the smooth operation of our sessions, we have established the following tardiness policy:

  1. Participants are granted a grace period of up to 5 minutes from the scheduled start time.
  2. If a participant arrives within this 5-minute window, they will be admitted to the session.
  3. However, if a participant arrives after the 5-minute grace period has expired, they will not be able to join the session.
  4. In such cases, the participant will be required to re-register, make full payment, and reserve another remote skill session at their convenience.

BAD CONNECTION POLICY

In the event that your Wi-Fi or internet connection experiences disruptions during the skill session, we have implemented the following policy:

  1. If your connection becomes spotty, you will be given the option to complete the training in a 1:1 session at the end of the registered session.
  2. Alternatively, you may choose to reschedule and book another session at a small fee.

Please note that this policy does not cover situations where participants are unprepared for a stable Wi-Fi connection. If you are unable to gain access to the skill session due to unpreparedness, this policy will not be applicable.

We understand that technical issues can arise, and we want to ensure that you have the opportunity to receive the training you signed up for.


FAILING A CHALLENGE POLICY

Please be aware of the following policy in the event of failing a challenge:

  1. There will be no refunds for participants who do not pass the challenge each payment is based on challenge attempt. It is the responsibility of each participant to adequately prepare for the assessment.
  2. If a participant fails a challenge and does not possess a current certification, they must register and pay for a complete blended course.
  3. However, if a participant currently holds a valid certification, they have the option to re-register and pay for another challenge.

SUPPLY HANDLING POLICY

Participants are entrusted with our supplies and equipment during the course. It is imperative that they handle these resources with care and responsibility. As such, please be aware of the following:

  1. Damage Charges: Participants will be held responsible for any damage incurred to the supplies or equipment provided. Repair or replacement costs will be assessed accordingly.
  2. Late Return Charges: Participants are expected to return the supplies promptly at the designated time. Late returns may incur additional charges.
  3. Misuse Charges: Any deliberate or negligent misuse of the s

ADDING A PAL POLICY

We understand that there may be situations where you'd like to include an additional participant in your training session. To accommodate this, we offer the PAL (Participant Added to Training) option as an add-on feature. Please be aware of the following terms and conditions:

  1. Shared Equipment: When you add a PAL to your training, you will share one set of equipment provided for the session. It is important to ensure proper utilization and care of the equipment during the training.
  2. Discounted Rate: As a gesture of appreciation for your commitment to training together, a slight discount will be applied when adding a PAL to your session.

  • Individual Assessment: Each participant, including the PAL, will be tested and assessed individually during the training session.

Please note that the PAL option is subject to availability and should be confirmed at the time of booking. We recommend that both participants are adequately prepared and familiar with the training material.

AirTag Policy for Rental Supplies

In order to enhance the efficiency and security of our rental supplies for CPR classes, we have implemented the use of AirTags. Please familiarize yourself with the following policy:

  • Purpose of AirTags: AirTags are employed to track and locate our rental supplies. They help streamline the retrieval process and ensure the availability of necessary equipment for all participants.
  • Rental Agreement Acknowledgment: By renting supplies from us, you acknowledge and accept the use of AirTags for tracking and security purposes.
  • Privacy and Data Protection: Rest assured, AirTags are used solely for tracking purposes related to our rental supplies. No personal data or information is collected or stored through these devices.
  • Return of Rental Supplies: Upon completion of your CPR class, it is imperative to return all rental supplies, including AirTag-equipped items, in the condition they were received.
  • Charges for Lost or Unreturned AirTags: Failure to return rental supplies or AirTags will result in associated charges, including the cost of the lost AirTag.
  • Tampering with AirTags: Tampering with or attempting to remove AirTags from rental supplies is strictly prohibited.
  • Notification of Technical Issues: If you experience any technical issues or malfunctions with an AirTag, please report it to our staff immediately.
  • AirTag Removal: Only authorized personnel are permitted to remove AirTags from rental supplies. Please do not attempt to remove or alter the devices.
  • Safety Precautions: AirTags are designed to be safe for use and will not cause harm to individuals. However, exercise caution when handling any electronic device.
  • Reporting Lost AirTags: If you believe you have lost an AirTag during the course, please inform our staff promptly.

SANITIZING POLICY

In order to maintain a clean and safe environment for all participants, it is imperative that all equipment is properly sanitized. By participating in our training sessions, you agree to adhere to the following sanitizing guidelines:

  1. Start and End Sanitization: Before and after your training session, all participants are required to thoroughly sanitize the provided equipment.
  2. Sanitizing Form: Each time you sanitize the equipment, you are required to fill out the sanitizing form provided. This form serves as a record of the sanitization process.
  3. Effective Sanitization: Ensure that all equipment is effectively cleaned using the provided sanitizing materials. Pay special attention to high-touch surfaces.
  4. Shared Responsibility: Sanitization is a collective effort. Each participant is responsible for their respective equipment.

Your cooperation in maintaining a hygienic environment is greatly appreciated.

Photo Release Policy

At Manikin Pal Remote Learning CPR Company, we occasionally document our training sessions through photography or video recording. These visual materials serve to enhance the learning experience, and may be used for educational, promotional, or archival purposes. Please take a moment to review our Photo Release Policy:

  1.  Consent for Photography or Video Recording: By participating in our CPR training sessions, you grant Manikin Pal Remote Learning CPR Company permission to photograph and/or video record your involvement.
  2. Use of Visual Materials: The visual materials captured may be used on our website, social media channels, marketing materials, presentations, or other promotional platforms associated with Manikin Pal Remote Learning CPR Company.
  3. Anonymity and Privacy: We respect your privacy. If you have any concerns about being identified in the visual materials, please inform our staff before the session begins. 
  4. Third-Party Usage: While we do our best to control the use of visual materials, we cannot prevent third parties from taking photographs or recordings during our sessions. We advise participants to be aware of their surroundings.

FAILURE TO RETURN SUPPLIES POLICY

It is imperative that all participants promptly return the provided supplies after their training session. Failure to do so will result in the following charges:

  1. Full Cost of Supplies: Participants will be charged the full cost of the supplies, which has a value of $936.
  2. Refund to other participant charges: For all refunded payments to participants who did not receive their certification due to a lack of supplies (resulting from your failure to return the supplies), charges for certifications will be applied until the supplies are replaced.
  3. Fees Associated with Equipment Loss: Any and all fees associated with the loss of equipment will be charged.

In the event of any issues or concerns, we kindly request that you address them directly with MANIKINPAL. They are the designated point of contact for all matters pertaining to our equipment and services.

In the event that there if only 1 participant scheduled for a Remotely Monitored CPR Skills Session Policy

At Manikin Pal Remote Learning CPR Company, we strive to provide the best learning experience for all participants. To maintain the quality of our training, we have implemented a policy regarding privately scheduled CPR/FA/AED courses:

  • Private Session Fee: For any CPR/FA/AED course with only one participant, there will be an automatic fee of $30 for a private class. This fee helps cover the costs associated with conducting a private session.
  • Notification and Rescheduling: You will be notified 48 hours in advance if your scheduled course has no one else registered.  You will then have the opportunity to reschedule to any other available course at no additional cost, or pay the $30 fee for the private class. 
  • No Refunds for low enrollment: Please note that there are no refunds for low enrollment courses. This fee is implemented to ensure the viability of the course and cover necessary expenses.

Accessing Your Google Meet Link for the Remotely Monitored Skill Session

  1. After registering for your course, please check the course description notes. You will find a Google Meet link provided for your remotely monitored skill session.
  2. On the day of your scheduled session, at the designated time, click on the Google Meet link provided in the course description notes.
  3. The link will directly connect you to the virtual meeting room where your skill session will take place.
  4. Ensure you have a stable internet connection and are in a quiet, well-lit area with enough space to demonstrate the required skills.
  5. Be prepared to demonstrate your proficiency in CPR and Basic Life Support techniques as instructed during the session

ADDING A PAL POLICY

We understand that there may be situations where you'd like to include an additional participant in your training session. To accommodate this, we offer the PAL (Participant Added to Training) option as an add-on feature. Please be aware of the following terms and conditions:

  1. Shared Equipment: When you add a PAL to your training, you will share one set of equipment provided for the session. It is important to ensure proper utilization and care of the equipment during the training.
  2. Discounted Rate: As a gesture of appreciation for your commitment to training together, a slight discount will be applied when adding a PAL to your session.

  • Individual Assessment: Each participant, including the PAL, will be tested and assessed individually during the training session.

Please note that the PAL option is subject to availability and should be confirmed at the time of booking. We recommend that both participants are adequately prepared and familiar with the training material.


SANITIZING POLICY

In order to maintain a clean and safe environment for all participants, it is imperative that all equipment is properly sanitized. By participating in our training sessions, you agree to adhere to the following sanitizing guidelines:

  1. Start and End Sanitization: Before and after your training session, all participants are required to thoroughly sanitize the provided equipment.
  2. Sanitizing Form: Each time you sanitize the equipment, you are required to fill out the sanitizing form provided. This form serves as a record of the sanitization process.
  3. Effective Sanitization: Ensure that all equipment is effectively cleaned using the provided sanitizing materials. Pay special attention to high-touch surfaces.
  4. Shared Responsibility: Sanitization is a collective effort. Each participant is responsible for their respective equipment.

By registering for any course or service provided by ManikinPAL LLC, 30 to 2 LLC, I Rescue Mission INC, or any associated entities, you agree to the following terms and conditions regarding charges, cancellations, refunds, and liabilities. This document serves to protect all parties involved, including ManikinPAL LLC, 30 to 2 LLC, I Rescue Mission INC, instructors, volunteers, staff, locations, and other participants.

1. Supply Handling, Late Return, and Damage Charges

  • Full Cost of Supplies: Participants are entrusted with supplies and equipment valued at $936. In the event that supplies are not returned by the scheduled time or are returned damaged, the full cost of the supplies will be charged to the participant. This includes:
    • Missing items
    • Equipment damaged due to negligence or improper use
    • Failure to return supplies by the agreed time
  • Late Return Fees: Supplies must be returned on time to allow for other participants to use them. If supplies are returned late, the participant will incur a daily late fee of $50 per day until all supplies are returned in full working order.
  • Equipment Loss: If supplies are lost or not returned at all, the participant will be charged the full replacement cost of the missing items, which may exceed $936 depending on the type and quantity of equipment lost.

2. Refund Policy and Charges for Delay

No Refund Policy:

  • All course fees, supply rentals, and associated costs are non-refundable. Once a participant has registered, no refunds will be provided, regardless of circumstances such as:
    • Failure to complete the online course on time
    • Failing the assessment
    • Failing to attend the in-person or virtual skills session
    • Technical issues on the participant’s end during virtual sessions
    • Any cancellations initiated by the participant within 72 hours of the course
  • Delaying Other Services: If a participant’s actions (e.g., failure to return supplies on time, failure to attend a scheduled session, or failure to meet pre-requisites) result in a delay that affects the availability of services for other participants, the participant will be responsible for compensating ManikinPAL LLC, 30 to 2 LLC, or I Rescue Mission INC for the financial impact of that delay. This includes:
    • Rebooking Fees: $100 for each participant who was delayed in receiving supplies or completing a session due to the original participant’s delay or non-compliance.
    • Cancellation Fees for Affected Classes: If other participants’ classes must be rescheduled due to delays caused by one participant, the original participant will be charged $150 per class for disruption and rescheduling.
    • Certification Refund Fees: If other participants are unable to complete their training and receive certification due to the delay, any refunds issued to those participants will be charged to the participant responsible for the delay.

3. In-Person Training Policy and Charges

  • No Refunds for In-Person Cancellations: Once registered for an in-person class, the participant is expected to attend the session on the scheduled date and time. Failure to attend or cancellation within 72 hours of the session will result in the following:
    • No refunds will be issued for in-person cancellations.
    • The participant must re-register and pay the full course fee again if they wish to reschedule.
  • Rescheduling Fees: Participants may request to reschedule their in-person session for an additional fee:
    • $25 rescheduling fee for CPR classes
    • $50 rescheduling fee for aquatic classes
    • This request must be made at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled session. If the request is made less than 72 hours before the session, the participant will be required to re-register and pay the full course fee again.
  • Failure to Attend: If a participant fails to attend their scheduled in-person class without providing 72 hours' notice, no refunds will be provided, and the participant will forfeit their registration. They must re-register and pay the full course fee if they wish to attend another session.

4. Virtual Session Attendance and Cancellation Policy

  • No Refunds for Missed Virtual Sessions: Participants must attend their scheduled virtual skills session at the agreed time. Failure to attend without prior notice will result in forfeiture of the session and no refunds will be provided.
  • Late Attendance: If a participant is more than 5 minutes late to a virtual session, they will not be allowed to join, and the session will be considered forfeited. The participant will be required to re-register and pay the full course fee to schedule another session.
  • Cancellation of Virtual Sessions: Any cancellations or requests to reschedule a virtual session must be made at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled session. A $25 rescheduling fee will apply for virtual sessions. If the request is made less than 72 hours in advance, the participant will need to re-register and pay the full course fee again.
  • Technical Issues: Participants are responsible for ensuring they have a stable internet connection and proper setup for virtual sessions. ManikinPAL LLC is not responsible for technical difficulties on the participant's end, and no refunds will be issued for failure to complete a session due to technical issues. If rescheduling is required due to technical issues, the participant will be charged a $25 rescheduling fee.

5. Responsibility for Training and Pre-Requisites

  • Pre-Requisite Completion: By registering for a course, participants confirm that they are confident in their ability to complete all required pre-requisites (e.g., the online portion of the course). Failure to complete these pre-requisites in time for the in-person or virtual skills session will not result in a refund. Participants must re-register and pay the full course fee again if they are not eligible to attend the scheduled session.
  • No Refunds for Failure to Pass: If a participant fails any portion of the skills assessment or challenge, they are entitled to one additional attempt at no cost, provided it is completed within 6 weeks of the original session. If the participant fails the second attempt or does not complete the additional session within 6 weeks, they must re-register and pay the full course fee to attempt the course again. No refunds will be issued for failure to pass.

6. Liability Waiver for All Participants

  • No Liability for Training: ManikinPAL LLC, 30 to 2 LLC, I Rescue Mission INC, and any associated entities, volunteers, staff, or locations are not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or damages that occur during training. This applies to both virtual and in-person sessions. By participating in training, participants accept full responsibility for their actions and agree to follow the instructor’s guidance and safety protocols.
  • No Liability for Virtual Training Environment: ManikinPAL LLC and associated entities have no control over the environment in which virtual sessions take place. As such, participants are responsible for ensuring their environment is safe and suitable for training. ManikinPAL LLC is not liable for any incidents, injuries, or accidents that occur during virtual sessions.
  • No Liability for Location-Based Issues: The locations used for supply pick-up, drop-off, or in-person training are independent entities and are not affiliated with ManikinPAL LLC, 30 to 2 LLC, or I Rescue Mission INC. These locations are not responsible for any issues or incidents that occur during your training or while handling supplies. All inquiries must be directed to ManikinPAL LLC.

By registering for any training course or service with ManikinPAL LLC, 30 to 2 LLC, I Rescue Mission INC, and all associated entities, you agree to all terms, conditions, and policies outlined in this document. You release all parties from any liability, and you accept full responsibility for your actions, compliance with course requirements, and timely return of supplies.
