The Apex Buddy Up Program is designed for swimmers who want the benefits of a smaller lesson environment at a reduced cost.
Through this program, Apex Aquatics will work to match swimmers with another swimmer who is a good fit for a semi-private lesson based on factors such as age, ability level, goals, and availability.
How It Works

- Swimmers enroll in the Apex Buddy Up Program.
- Apex Aquatics reviews available swimmers and works to create compatible lesson pairings when possible.
- Once a suitable match is found, swimmers can participate in semi-private lessons together.
- If a compatible match is not currently available, swimmers may remain on the matching list until an appropriate pairing becomes available.

Policies and Procedures
Scheduling & Attendance
- Lessons begin and end on time.
- Late arrivals do not receive additional time.
- No-shows forfeit the lesson.
Cancellation Policy
Pay-As-You-Go
- All bookings are final.
- No refunds, credits, or transfers once booked.
Monthly Packages
- Reserved weekly time slots require 8 weeks' notice to cancel future renewals.
- Missed lessons are forfeited.
- Known scheduling conflicts must be communicated before scheduling begins.
Instructor & Facility Cancellations
- If the instructor cancels a lesson within 48 hours of the scheduled start time for any reason, you will receive one complimentary 30-minute lesson in addition to rescheduling your missed lesson.
- If a lesson cannot take place due to a facility or hotel closure or other issue beyond the instructor's control, the lesson will be credited or rescheduled. No additional complimentary lesson will be provided.
- Because the pool is located within a shared hotel facility, other guests may occasionally be using the pool. If excessive noise, horseplay, or other guest activity substantially interferes with the quality of your lesson, the lesson will be credited to your account and will not count as a completed lesson.
Free Trial Lessons
Free trial lessons may be offered at the owner's discretion for new swimmers and are intended to introduce families to the program.
Safety Notice
- There is no lifeguard on duty during lessons. Water supervision is provided by your instructor.
- There is no AED available on site.
- The facility is responsible for pool maintenance, water chemistry, cleaning, and overall operations. As a contracted rental instructor, 30 to 2 LLC performs a visual inspection and water test before lessons but does not control facility operations.
- Pool chemicals, including chlorine and other sanitizers, are used as part of normal pool operation. Please notify the instructor of any known sensitivities before your lesson.
- The pool is located within a shared facility. Other guests may occasionally be present. If circumstances beyond the instructor's control substantially interfere with the safety or quality of a lesson, the lesson will be rescheduled or credited and will not count as a completed lesson.
- If you choose to use the pool outside of your scheduled lesson, you do so at your own risk.
- Participation in swim lessons involves inherent risks associated with aquatic activities.
Arrival & Attendance
- Lessons start and end promptly on time.
- There are no extensions or make-ups for late arrivals.
- No-shows result in the loss of the entire session fee.
